What is the difference between COMPLETE and CLOSED work orders
COMPLETE: Competed work orders are when a technician marks a Schedule (visit) within a work order as complete.
CLOSED: When all Schedules (visits) within a work order are marked as Complete, it is ready to be Closed and invoiced. You can Close a work order in two ways by clicking on the Actions button and then…
- “Send to QuickBooks”. This closes the work order and generates an invoice in QuickBooks.
- “Close Only”. This only closes the work order.
Additional Notes:
- Technician marks the visit as complete in the mobile app.
- Completed work orders can be identified in the work order in the SCHEDULES tab.
- Completed work orders can be identified in the calendar by a small green checkbox on the top right of a Schedule. Closed order have a strikeout.
- From the actions button select ‘Send to QuickBooks’ or ‘Close Only’ to close a work order
