What is the difference between COMPLETE and CLOSED work orders

COMPLETE: Competed work orders are when a technician marks a Schedule (visit) within a work order as complete.

CLOSED: When all Schedules (visits) within a work order are marked as Complete, it is ready to be Closed and invoiced. You can Close a work order in two ways by clicking on the Actions button and then…

  • “Send to QuickBooks”. This closes the work order and generates an invoice in QuickBooks.
  • “Close Only”. This only closes the work order.

Additional Notes:

  • Technician marks the visit as complete in the mobile app.
