Clock In records the start of your working day. So at the start of every day, remember to ‘Clock In’.
Go back to the Home screen to view your work orders for the day. Select a Work Order and press the ‘Check In’ button in the Schedule tab [shown in figure below].
This will indicate that you have started working on this job and the time will also be automatically recorded in your timecard.
After completing a job, click on ‘Check Out’. Again, the time will also be automatically recorded in your time card.
If you are working on a job for which a Work Order has not been created, log it by clicking on ‘Add Time’ on the timecard page.
Through the ‘Add Time’ option, you may record your lunch by selecting the appropriate Job Code.
At the end of a work day, make sure you ‘Clock Out’. Note: If you forget to ‘Clock Out’ make sure you inform the administrator so that they can manually correct it. Clocking out at a later time will create discrepancy in your total hours for the day.
Once you ‘Clock out’, send your timecard for approval by clicking on ‘Send for Approval’. Your timecard status will now change to ‘Waiting for approval’. Note: If your timecard is approved/rejected/edited by the administrator, you will be informed on the timecard page.
You may add PTO from the timecard menu as shown in the image below.
